And sacrifices have been made. Don't get me wrong, there are some great moments on all their albums, but their overall style is something I don't really like.

Today is the first day of my #GrowerOrBlower #Kreator -Journey. As mentioned before, I had my Kreator time in the 90s, before that I couldn't cope with Mille's voice and after that I wasn't interested ... So there's a lot to catch up on and discover. Schon fast grungig … definitiv geileres Songwriting … viel besserer Gesang … Die 90er sind unüberhörbar und auch einfach soooo viel mehr mein Ding als der Sound der 80er. Sollte @derthomas Recht behalten und es nun für mich - mit neuem Sänger - erträglicher werden? Doch eher Grower als Blower? Bin gespannt und (was noch viel wichtiger ist) hab wieder Bock!

My points of criticism remain the same: too hectic for me, too little variety in the rhythm and in the songwriting, I don't like the vocals. A bit better towards the end. All in all, too little to want to listen to it again.

#Nowplaying State Of Euphoria - and Antisocial is by far the best song on this album so far.

The first three songs on this album are not much fun for me - the drums often are way too straight and without any finesse, the vocals are largely uninspired, somewhere in the middle of nowhere next to the rest of the band, plus this horrible timbre … And unfortunately I have to say, this seems to be a trademark of #anthrax … 🫣 Simply exhausting.
