Second place goes to:
Amorphis - Borderland
As a long-time Amorphis fan, I am of course always very excited to hear what the guys will release next. Even though the album itself doesn't offer anything new, most of the songs are really well done.
I wrote my opinion on the individual songs here (in German):

Third place goes to:
Jinjer – Duel
https://jinjer-jinjer.bandcamp.com/album/du-lIt took me a while to warm up to the band in general. But then “Wallflowers” won me over, and Jinjer followed up with Duel. The whole band is incredibly talented, and I'm really looking forward to seeing them live in March!

Fourth place goes to:
Rivers Of Nihil - Rivers Of Nihil
https://riversofnihil.bandcamp.com/album/rivers-of-nihilTo be honest, I had hoped the album would rank higher, but it feels a little too fragmented. There are some great songs on it, such as “Water & Time,” “House Of Light,” and “Rivers Of Nihil.” The other songs are also really good on their own, but somehow it feels like a compilation of different EPs. Maybe it's due to the upheaval. Overall, it's still a good release.
