I found treasure today! I was going for a walk in the neighborhood and found these skis and boots on the street being given away for free. They are worn, but still look totally usable to me. The boots are my size too! I couldn't believe it. As I was picking them up, the owner came out and chatted with me a little bit. They were moving and clearing out some of their kid's old things. I thanked him profusely.
I have been meaning to buy myself skis for a long time, but the cost was a barrier especially since I don't go skiing very often. I can't wait for winter...

Just ground scored an unopened box of dark chocolates from Trader Joe’s. Normally I’m suspect of curbed food, but this one might be too tempting to pass up…

Two great things I've found were a wide-screen monitor (that about a year later, I dropped and cracked by mistake 😩 ) and a REI luggage bag that my partner still uses for all of our trips.

Just the other day I saw someone #rollerblading and I wondered whatever happened to the #skates I had as a kid.
Today I found these waiting for me on the sidewalk. They look big enough to fit me so I'm gonna see if I can skate home!
