I spent a good few hours plotting more history for my GrimDark world, found names for my my fairytale characters, picked which way I will tell the story (3rd person omnicient), and expanded the whole premise so I can fill the plot with interesting details (but not too many). (:

But I need food, and need to do more laundry, so it has to wait.

It will have a scary beast, enchanting tower, a prince, a wannabe princess, a poor girl, a knight who learns a lesson, and a final teaching to tie everything into a neat-ish bow.

Währendessen kämpfen die Orkstämme gegen ihre Besatzer deren Ziel gar nicht die Orks selbst sind. Die sind schlicht "im Weg" als die Elfen die Nationen der Menschen angreifen wollen. (So ähnlich wie Rommel, der über Luxemburg ging, um die Maginollinie zu umgehen.) Es wird also viel Krieg und Politik geben. Ach ja, und es wird vermutlich keine wie auch immer geartete Romance geben. ^^

Nach lange Schreibpause in Zuge meines Lektorats habe ich jetzt wieder angefangen, allerdings mit einem besonders düsteren Fantasyroman.

Arbeitstitel "Schatten über Ashkagar"

Darin geht es um das namensgebende Land der Orks, dass von besonders fiesen Dunkelelfen angegriffen wird. Die sind eine Mischung aus Thalmor, Drow und Caligula. ;)
