The GR Forward plan was adopted in 2015, after engagement with over 4,000 residents, to steer the development of downtown and downtown's interfacing with the neighborhoods. It's been ten years! An amazing amount has been accomplished. This is page 190 of the City's GRFoward plan (2015); which includes this statement: "Fulton is a central gateway street through Downtown which should host bold design elements that demonstrate the City’s attitudes toward transportation and the public realm in Downtown".
So, does the lack of any change in ~10 years boldly represent the City's true attitude toward transportation and the public realm? #GrandRapidsMI #GRForward
