Good news, finally, on the Newham #Greenway diversion: preliminary designs are going to Cabinet, with the hope of getting spades in the ground this financial year. An interesting cycle lots of twists and minor ups and downs. Mostly off road couple of stretches on very quiet roads one short stretch on busy road. Carlingford is dominated by cars and car parking. Had to search to find a place to park the bike. Some really ugly fencing takes away from the gorgeous scenery. #Carlingford #Greenway. Now to head back

The tree on the ridge
I took this from the Coachford Greenway, shooting through the ditch instead of over it, which is why you’ll see the frame of dark leaves and grass. The sky was flat grey and heavy. A few minutes later it started raining, but I had an umbrella, and I had a couple of nice photos....

Our own LCC Women's Network highlighted the serious social safety issues on the #Greenway, in fact being listed as 100% socially unsafe after dark.
