A #SuperElNiño is likely to cost many trillions of dollars. When are we going to hold the #OilAndGasMafia and those profiting from the incineration of our planet accountable? Voting pro-business got us here. When will we start voting pro-planet?

@jfmezei just like many parts of the world the #OuterBanks cannot be defended against the impending #ClimateBreakdown. Nonetheless the state of #NC keeps rebuilding roads, as if their destruction was not a known repetitive event.
Why do we keep spending tax dollars on these losing battles, instead of spending it on building an economy that is #CarbonNegative? The costs of doing business as usual are going to be many times more of what it would take to build a circular economy energized by renewables. #GreenNewDealNow -
@Sustainable2050 somehow we cannot afford transitioning to a green economy and rid ourselves of #FossilFuelIndustries, but at the same time have to spend all our funds on adaptation to an ever worsening #GlobalClimateCrisis that will become more and more irreversible..

@angeldruckt @Simone21 Genau!
#GreenNewDealNow #KeepItInTheGround -
... and the #FossilFuelIndustry is nowhere to be seen or heard of. Even worse we keep propping up their business model that depends on free polluting and tax subsidies. This vicious circle has to end and fast ... No more time to waste. #LastGeneration #StopOilNow #GreenNewDealNow #TaxBigOil

@ai6yr parts of the US become uninhabitable faster than anyone thought ... We got to pay attention to what really matters ... and it ain't migrants or religion!!

"Phoenix has broken daily heat records 18 times and tied two more since the streak began on Sept. 24."
This is our #1problem .. all the other stuff is out there to get us confused, invested, outraged, and wound up.
The #OilAndGasMafia and the #GOP are doing whatever they can to divert attention away from the impending disaster caused by #Capitalism and our personal carelessness. #GreenNewDealNowhttps://ktar.com/story/5614651/record-daily-heat-streak-in-phoenix-2/
