This action by Australia is better than many are doing, so I want to note that, and yet I think it is still not enough.

My view is admittedly harsh but then the survival of humanity is on the line so I'm not inclined to pull punches:

There is no way you can work this problem where "AI" and associated data centers are not adding to the problem other than simply to have them not built until green energy is everywhere else.

Also, what about the fresh water consumption? The physical dynamics there are not the same.
