Neste vídeo, eu mostro GreedFall rodando em Full HD, na RX 550 de 4 GB, comparando o desempenho entre Debian 13 e Linux Mint 22.3, lado a lado.
O teste foi feito usando o mesmo hardware e as mesmas configurações dentro do jogo.
No Debian, o jogo roda em Wayland, enquanto no Linux Mint o teste foi feito em X11.

A shame but given the current videogame industry, if your game does not explode in the market, it implodes the studio.
In the 2000, a 60% game would have just given enough oil to the studio to cook a sequel with lessons learned. Today, it only buys some months to get another job.

W cieniu #CrimsonDesert giną inne premiery, jak na przykład #GreedFall The Dying World od studia #Spiders. Uwielbiam część pierwszą, jak i ichniego #Technomancer, więc nie mogłem nie zakupić tej edycji. Zawartość prosta do bólu - steelbook i gra, ale ten pierwszy naprawdę ładnie wykonany, z lakierowanymi elementami. Cyfrowo ścieżka dźwiękowa i artbook - szkoda, że nie fizycznie, ale takie już mamy czasy.

Ahh ja. Interessante Architektur mit starkem Fokus auf das Wichtigste. Es gibt nur ein Ess- und ein Schlafzimmer. Das Esszimmer ist direkt hinter der Eingangstür, eine Diele gibt es nicht. Aber Hauptsache alles sieht pompös aus :neocat_laugh: #linux #gaming #greedfall

Started playing #greedfall. Only about 9h in but I like it so far. It reminds me of a mix of dragon age and Assassin's Creed (the ezio renaissance parts at least).

Phew... After 2 years of on-off playing, Greedfall AKA "I am the legate of the Congregation" simulator AKA slamming-doors-open-simulator is done.
For most of the game I didn't have guns, but hoarded ammo. So during the last third I was able to go in guns blazing to any situation as I had basically infinite ammo, leading to quite some power creep... 😅

Have you ever played a (plot-driven) game for so long that you start to get nostalgic over how it started? I've been playing Greedfall on and off for quite some time, and even though my total hours are not big, it has been over such a long timespan that I'm like "oh, remember those days? when things were simple and I was excited to discover the world?".
