#floodthezone with 10.1MHz QRO CW.
I made 4500+ QSO so far for the OP0WWA activity. Mostly CW and a few nice SSB runs.
Lots of nice DX calling in.Next week firing up the shack on a weekday will be useless again. Apart from the FT8 bots, no one seems to care.
No one answers a plain old Belgian CQ.#WorldWideAward ~ love it or hate it but it keeps the #hamradio #hfbands alive.

I just worked @kb6nu on 30m (CW duh!) 559 both ways.
We did that 18 years ago too:
https://www.kb6nu.com/franki-made-my-dayHow time flies... Scary.
TNX for the qso Dan. -
BTW I'm very stoked about this weekend's CQ WW CW. It's been a few years since I did an all band all out all in effort.
Look for OQ5M.
Who else is joining us in #cqwwcw ?

I don't know how or why but I just made 130 SSB QSO with EU on 40m as OQ0IARU. In one hour.
Why doesn't that happen when I do #cw?
#morsecode is therapeutical. SSB is plain work.#hamradio is like fishing. I guess you need good bait.

Home alone today! #hamradioshack time.
- Worked KH0W for possibly a new one on 30m.
- JD1/Ogassawara, weak but logged on 15 CW.
- Chased those Italian SES in CW, SSB and even 2x RTTY.
- On the lookout for #YOTA stations. Drop that phone and get OTA guys!
- I worked VK2GR on 80 CW. He was loud and easy catch. Ten minutes later, again on 40m.
- QSO 'd the biggest lid I know: @DJ5CW
- Many casual CW QSO exchanging name, QTH, station info... -

Random fact o/t day.
I worked into USA on 10m without amp, only 20W and the yagi only at 8m high (tower not cranked up).
I was delighted to hear quite some CW activity.
Even North Dakota, which is a rare treat.I wish I hade more time to be in the shack.
Maybe I should prioritize and do away with all non-ham BS, if it doesn't pay bills. -

Never too late to join the #greatesthobbyintheworld that is #hamradio.
There are far worse addictions to pick up. -
How's it going with #cqcontest in #rtty you ask? Even if you don't ask, I gonna tell anyway.
Usually I do fast snappy CW contesting. RTTY is soooo slloooowww.
Usually I have a beefy kW amp running. I decided to go barefoot, rig at 90W out. Moohahaaa...
Usually the yagi is between 15m and 21m AGL. I left the tower down so the tribander sits only 8m high.
'nuff said?
And I worked 11 Dutch(wo)men in the #pacc contest on 28MHz.
Support the ham radio contest scene!

Welcome to the #greatesthobbyintheworld
Knock yourself out with everything it has to offer. -

You're 'thinking'? The ghost of Samuel Morse is practically bending the universe to give you a sign!
Get. That. License.

@on1arf @dj3ei @taekehf @hamradio
Yes so much to do in the #greatesthobbyintheworld
Tons of frequencies, modes, techniques.
You can re-invent yourself as a ham, do something totally different, and still be a ham.
And age is just a number, even in HEX... -
@pd5te @alex
ON5ZO is mostly active as OQ5M.
QTH = central Belgium, 30km SW of Brussels.
My favorite mode is CW, and a little SSB. I'm only active on HF bands.
I like contesting, making simple antennas and also the social aspect of the hobby.
I like talking to people in CW, REAL QSO too, especially on 30m.
I call it #greatesthobbyintheworld...
73!
