The cause of rail advocacy in the Northwest has been significantly bolstered by last night's Senate confirmation of Elaine Clegg of Boise to a seat on the Amtrak Board. We believe that she and the three others confirmed will make Amtrak more responsive beyond the Norteast Corridor. AAWA looks forward to continuing our work with her.
