The #GreatBritishEnergy proposal is interesting. Pragmatic public investment in #renewables, with a little monarchic twist to overcome right-wing dogmas. (And to pretend it's very different from what Corbyn proposed in 2018. Now the private wind energy sector is begging for public equity, and new financial engineering means you don't need to mention 51% control.)

@JackTheCat It's going to have its head office in Scotland. Which means the board of directors will fly up from London four times a year for a two hour meeting, and the rest of the year a contract cleaning firm will keep the house-plants in the building watered.
