Generally, a good documentary with a decent mix of positive and negative aspects of what this technology can do but the cost of achieving all this didn't really come up. Grayson's a good student of humans for his art, but there are aspects of the tech he missed out that then skew the portrayal.

Yeah, very interesting programme. Good to see both the positive spin from the tech startup execs and the arguably paranoid views of the anti-AI extremists each being treated sceptically by Grayson. It helps that he can read people so well.

There's the first of a 2-part Grayson Perry documentary on Channel 4 right now, looking at current "AI" tech and what that may signify for the future, and it's already started strongly with a look at creepy "AI" companions. He's a good student of humans so the art he'll produce from this joining of them with the money-seeking tech should be very good.

Personal fun (not really) fact about #Whitby, where #GraysonPerry is now sat, eating fish and chips on the programme: It's the place in England where we were served the worst pint of Old Peculier ever. It had a creamflow head on it. Old Peculier should not have a creamflow head on it. It shouldn't have a head on it at all. No idea why northerners pour it like that. It's all kind of wrong. Changes the taste beyond recognition.

We've seen some properly good Northern Soul dancers on several occasions and it's a dance style we adore, with fabulous music as accompaniment. I've even been known to throw in a few Northern Soul dance steps myself on occasion.

Enjoyable first episode, but #GraysonPerry programmes always are, and nice to see him touch upon the fact that looking back to the past - whether some perceived glorious, heroic past of racist England, or some idyllic, everyone at peace with nature past of traditional England - is very, very white. Midlands next week, and a far more culturally diverse England to take in. Well worth catching if you missed it. #FullEnglish

I love the way that #GraysonPerry will sometimes mock people right to their faces but in a way they don't react to or feel he's on their side with. So far we've already had the Dover guy complaining about rapists and murderers crossing the channel - Grayson: "They're not good old English rapists and murderers!" - and football fans drinking Jägermeister to their friend's memories - Grayson: "The taste of England!"

Watching a programme on Channel 4: #GraysonPerry looking into what it means to be #English and it's started with a small-brained, xenophobic defender of #Dover from the fear of immigrants who's almost immediately mentioned how children are being taught that being white is bad so, yeah, not a show for anyone with blood pressure issues to view.
