#HeySong C&C Grape Soda. It just tastes like carbonated artificial grape juice. I still prefer Fanta.
4/10

Today’s #GrapeSoda review is Rocket Fizz Grape.
Tasting notes: It’s back to the aroma of the ET ride at Universal Studios Florida circa 1993 (see my previous reviews). Very sweet, light carbonation. Colour is a little pale.
4/10

It’s been a while since I did a #grapesoda review! Why? Long story, but it involves threatening behaviour from my past soda supplier.
Anyway, on to todays soda: Sprecher Fire Brewed Grape Soda from Glendale, Wisconsin USA. The bottle says it’s made with honey and, holy moly, look at those 320 calories!
First hit is Concord grape then it goes full honey. Lots of honey! Pleasant carbonation on the tongue but it doesn’t do much in the glass.
Really nice. 10/10

Once again it’s time for a (generic) #grapesoda review. Today it’s Compliments Grape. Compliments is the generic brand for Sobeys / Safeway Canada. I’m his 2 litre was dead cheap at $1.59 CAD.
Tasting notes: chalky, Flintstones vitamins, syrupy sweetness, low carbonation. meh.
5/10

Today’s #grapesoda review is Frostie Concord Grape which proudly states “Made in Michigan.” Which is weird because I’m in Canada and no where on here does it say made in USA.
Hate to break it to you so close to the 4th Americans, but I guess they’re doing their own thing in Michigan now? Hope that’s not too messy to figure out.
Anyway, tasting notes: very concord-y but not aggressively flavoured, not too sweet either. Very high carbonation. Nice.

In honour of #CanadaDay, the #GrapeSoda review is for Pop Shoppe Grape from Stoney Creek, Ontario.
I’ve never had this flavour before (I have had a few others thought.
Tasting notes: Pleasant blend of Concord grape with black currant. Medium sweetness. Fine carbonation.
9/10, quite good

It’s #grapesoda review time again. This is a fun one: “Looks like orange, tastes like grape” produced under the authority of Mike Gulan (the baseball player?) by Real Sodas in Real Bottles. Such a mouthful.
Tasting notes: it’s candy grape with a little Flinstones vitamins finish. Low carbonation. My eyes really prep me for a orange soda but it the grapey-ness is undeniable.

This #grapesoda review might seem a bit… normal? It’s not sold in Canada so it’s new to me and ~=exotic=~. Ish.
Fanta Grape from the USA
Tasting notes: grape jolly rancher. Extremely sweet. Corn syrup finish. Average carbonation.
It’s aggressively okay. 6/10

no #grapesoda review today.
After purchasing today’s selection, I found out the company who makes it is super problematic. I’m going to drink it as not to be wasteful, but not giving the company any publicity (nor any more of my money).

Alright! It’s Monday, but I have #grapesoda… kinda.
I’ll admit I wasn’t looking forward to Grape Cove Gut Healthy Soda from Halifax, NS 🇨🇦 given that it advertises probiotics and zero sugar so much on the packing 😬
Tasting notes: grape Flintstones vitamins and a very (not sugar) sweetness. Aggressive fizz.
6/10 better than I guessed

You know the drill #grapesoda rules and I talk about it.
Today we have Cool Mountain Grape from Illinois USA.
Tasting notes: First hit - pure grape fades into a caramel-ly cola flavour. Carbonation tickles the mouth. Quite nice.
Best to drink super cold and fast, otherwise the flat cola nastiness makes an appearance.
9/10

Guess what? #grapesoda review time.
Today we have Zotz Grape Fizz Power Soda from Reno, Nevada USA.
Tasting notes: Sour lemons, then… the aroma of the ET ride at Universal Studios Florida circa 1993 (it’s back!), faint grape. Fine bubbled carbonation.
Also, it’s weirdly high in sodium (190mg)

It’s Friday, folks! Time for #grapesoda!
Today’s beverage is Minhas Craft Non-Alcoholic Grape Soda.
Made in my (beautiful) province of Alberta 🇨🇦.
It’s from Calgary, but I’ll excuse that.
Tasting notes: First hit is grape bubblegum then strong brown sugar, which is an interesting combination. Carbonation could be stronger, but very pleasant.
8/10
(Flames suck, with ❤️ from Edmonton)

Buckle up, folks.
Today’s #grapesoda review is a wild one.
We have O’zell Grape Moments from “Silverlake, CA / Chicago, IL” How can a single product be from two places?
Tasting Notes: Grape Jolly Rancher mixed with the smell of the E.T. Ride at Universal Studios, Florida, crica 1993. That ride had a very specific aroma, maybe slightly like pool chlorine? Regardless, not a food smell. Medium carbonation.
I did have good memories of that vacation, so 6/10 for unexpected nostalgia.

It’s (kinda) #grapesoda review time!
Today we have Fritz’s Premium Grape Pop from St. Louis USA.
Tasting note: melted *cherry* popsicles. Does not register as grape to me. Maybe some threw a grape near the manufacturing line. Low carbonation.5/10
I would have enjoyed it if labeled as cherry soda.

Time for #grapesoda!
Today we have Empire Bottling Works Grape Soda.
Origin: USA - Rhode Island (not sure I’ve ever had anything from Rhode Island, honestly)
Tasting Notes: Big grape aroma. A little tangy, but still quite sweet. There is some other fruit in the background, blueberry maybe? Carbonation is high, but not overwhelming.
9/10
I’d seek this out again. -
Time for another #grapesoda review!
Nehi Grape Soda
Origin: USA
Tasting notes: It smells of grape, but it doesn’t taste of much of anything but sweet. Carbonation is pleasant.I had high hopes for this one because I remember having it as a kid and was really hoping for that nostalgic rush. Nope. Just sweet carbonation that has a grape scent.
4/10

Hank’s Gourmet Grape Soda
Origin: USA (Philly, apparently)
Tasting notes: reminiscent of grape bubble gum mixed with a hint of anise. Moderate carbonation. Syrupy sweetness (would be nicer if was a tad more dry). Pairs well with corn chips.8/10
-
Tropicana Sparkling Grape
Origin: S Korea
Tasting notes: Intense Concord grape (think grape jelly), mild aspartame-like after taste (doesn’t seem to be diet), low carbonation, moderate sweetness.7/10

My #purple #iris that smells like #GrapeSoda has finally #bloomed & it makes me happy to see/smell them! They smell fantastic; different scent than most other irises.
