#Sleepover for The Boy tonight. He’s had a bath, book, bed routine since he was a tiny baby. Milk and cookie joined the #BedtimeRoutine when he was four. He’s now five.
Tonight he chose Peter Pan for his story and five minutes after I put the book down, he was fast asleep. 💙

Junior showed up again, snuck towards the food bowl immediately today and even hung out for a while after eating. Mama Lemon made it a point to sit close to me, to show him it's safe. She did the same thing with Tux and it seemed to help then.

My youngest grandson just had his 4yr old vaccination 💉, apparently he watched the needle go in, didn’t flinch or cry & asked his Mum if he could be a needle 😂🤣.
That’s ok, he wanted to know if he could be a poo 💩 last week 😬.
I’d love to understand how his thinking works. Such a cute oddball though.

Took The Boy to #gymnastics this morning where he was awarded his level 3 badge. Celebrated with a Subway afterwards. He was pretty proud of himself… and super cute too.

To add: Hearing a toddler swear will never not be funny. We’ve all seen the “It’s a fucking goat” video, right?
I neither condone nor encourage it, but it’s still funny AF.
Also, it’s especially funny as I KNOW for certain that he hasn’t picked this up from me. This is pure dad’s doing. Whilst I do swear, and often, I am super careful with words around him, and “Oh goodness” is now a staple in my speech instead of swears.

1. Learning that this guy - photo - apart from saying “Cheese!” to the camera, has apparently learned a new phrase, used entirely in context. Wanted to watched Sing on #Netflix, Netflix was logged out, he responded “For fuck’s sake.” I should be horrified, but laughed long and hard.
2. Packed and loaded the car #today ahead of trip tomorrow.
3. Spent the evening catching up with Hannah & Mick. It’s been way too long.

Pretty good day today. I did my yoga class this morning & there are some poses I’m struggling with, but I’ll get better.
Was having some quiet time reading this afternoon & my phone rang, my daughter FaceTiming me - except when I answered the phone it wasn’t my daughter but my 2yr old grandson. His Mum was trying to change the beds & had opened a game up for him to use while she did it. Somehow he got out of the game & managed to call me instead. He was very excited to be talking to grandma too 🤣🤣😂. #QuietSunday #Grandson #Cheeky
