Seven Seas Reveals Cover for Vol. 4 of GRANDMASTER OF DEMONIC CULTIVATION (Hardcover)

Finished reading the first volume of “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu 🌸 This is the inspiration for the drama series “The Untamed”.

Side-eyeing so hard the whole cultivation world, except Jiggy and his watch towers (even though, conveniently, there wasn't one near Yi City)

Since I finished vol 1 have been thinking about dead Wei Wuxian. He mentions a couple of times that he was a "decent and honest" wandering ghost (p. 17) and rn I can't find the other places but it makes me curious that no one could summon his soul. Was it because he didn't want to be found or because the ones trying just weren't talented enough? What does a soul does for 13 years?

How can someone so smart be so dense? Vshdhshjxj
Yeah, he wants Bichen, Wei Wuxian, sure.
This whole part made me laugh a lot but also poor Lan Wangji. So near yet so far... But they need to use their brains/words eventually.

Ohhhh. A drunk Lan Wangji has appeared.

Ngl, the Wei Wuxian from Cloud Recesses Camp era is annoying as fuck, but also endearing and very relatable in his youthful naivety and arrogance. It's so funny* that Lan Zhan really went and fell hopelessly, devotedly, in love with the most annoying boy of his class.
* Also a bit heartbreaking if we take into consideration the fact that he lost him without ever having the chance to do anything about it until more than a decade later

Oh, no, bebé, no.
"Why would I do that?" he asks... Oh, baby boy. Just you wait. Daaaaamn.

Reading chapter 4 and...
Oops. Yeah. That tracks 😬😶

OK, I finished the #MDZSDonghua and it's just my impression or the last season was actually gayer than the previous ones? You know, within the limits...

Yes. Absolutely. Completely agree.

These babies are on the back of some of the postcards of the #mdzs volume 5 bundle. There are two more but I only can upload 4 pictures in one post.

My book arrived. And it's beautiful and I am so happy. It's such a nice gift! It's a bundle!? With stickers and postcards, and a bookmark and other pretty things. And the art is amazing.
However.
It's Volume 5
I get why my friend bought me that one. So, until I bought Volume 1, I'm gonna have to either wait patiently or... You know, not. Sob.
Anyway, having such a beauty in my hands feels so good. And it's big!

@bookstodon My #review of #GrandmasterofDemonicCultivation Vol. 5 (#MoDaoZuShi) by #MoXiangTongXiu has gone live! This was a great wrap-up of the series: bittersweet for the most part, which I think makes better sense than an out-and-out happy ending.
