So den ersten Band fertig, weiter mit dem zweiten. Es gefällt mir besser als Heaven officials Blessing, aber den Hype sehe ich immer noch nicht. Was mich in dem ersten Band zu Tode gelangweilt hat, wer mit wem wie verwandt ist, seitenlange Monologe, die sich keiner merken konnte und auch ehrlich nicht wirklich interessant waren. Hoffentlich wird der zweite besser in dieser Hinsicht.

This whole part made me laugh a lot but also poor Lan Wangji. So near yet so far... But they need to use their brains/words eventually.

Ngl, the Wei Wuxian from Cloud Recesses Camp era is annoying as fuck, but also endearing and very relatable in his youthful naivety and arrogance. It's so funny* that Lan Zhan really went and fell hopelessly, devotedly, in love with the most annoying boy of his class.
* Also a bit heartbreaking if we take into consideration the fact that he lost him without ever having the chance to do anything about it until more than a decade later
