北大武山的喜多麗斷崖，又稱光明頂，位於北大武山里程標示3.8k處。「對」的時間一到，會發現突然間，觀景臺上人山人海，單攻的與在里程4.2k檜谷山莊住宿的山友們，鐵粉般地被磁吸過來。雲海像圈牧在山谷間的羊群，呈180度開展，配合落日，這裡是山友們的麥加聖地。
風在吹；雲在飄；太陽漸下移，這場光雲影的遊戲，時時刻刻都在變動。先是一道光穿過雲縫，大家於是靜默下來，摒息以待。光束愈來愈多，頃刻間形成光罩，像灑出的魚網般蓋下，罩下的雲海似網中的魚般掙扎翻騰，氣象萬千。朝聖的山友們驚呼連連，快門聲不絕。
照片分享予友人後，友人說：「可以投稿去，主題是瓊瑤風。」我回：「不，是金庸風，這裡可是光明頂。」

Another view of Pingtung and Kaohsiung, divided by the Gaoping River, was taken from the Grand Cliff of Mt. North Dawu at dusk. The meandering dragon of light is Formosa Highway, which crosses over the Gaoping River by its cable-stayed bridge to the left of which is Fo Guang Shan Monastery. A cloudfall is running through the near mountains. This is Elysium if it does exist.
