"Marrakesh Express" is a song written by #GrahamNash and performed by the band #CrosbyStillsAndNash (CSN). It was first released in May 1969 on the self-titled album, #CrosbyStillsAndNash, and released on a 45-RPM single in July of the same year, with another CSN song, "Helplessly Hoping", as its backing side. The single reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 23, 1969. It reached the same position on the Easy Listening chart.

CSNY release their first compilation/best-of album on August 19, 1974. They released this album after that monster summer stadium tour in 1974. The band didn't want to release a "greatest hits" album after just two albums, Graham Nash called it "absurd." It's sold over 6M albums.
