  1. What do youse think about the #Graduated #DrivingLicence ? I keep seeing calls for this in #Britain - usually from bereaved #parents who have lost #teenage / #YoungAdult offspring in road traffic #collisions

I'm conflicted about the concept (and govt has 0 plans to introduce it) -it would make things difficult for both young #UK
citizens and new UK arrivals in #Health and #SocialCare who often have to drive at night/with passengers, and enforcement would require a lot of resources / #surveillance

Might as well just deploy more Roads Policing and neighbourhood officers to enforce existing laws - in my youth there was often a bobby around who would have words with the leadfooted and/or those who don't correctly maintain their #vehicles which did act as some deterrent.. #RoadSafety

  2. As a history major, I often closed 100+ tabs when the term ended. This is my finally time closing my school tabs. It still makes me happy that its over and I won. #Graduated #SNHU

  3. A philosopher and a psychologist share their 5 thoughts for new college grads to consider as they head out into the “real world,” including:

#3: Seeking work with a purpose is a noble and understandable goal

And #4: It is also understandable to care about money

    More important reminders for grads:

  4. In 4 decades before #Innu took over, about 30 #students in two Innu communities in #Labrador finished #HighSchool said Kanani Davis, chief executive of #MamuTshishkutamashutau Innu #Education - the Innu #SchoolBoard . Since then, more than 150 students have #graduated from the schools in #Sheshatshiu#Natuashish Davis said.

  5. Never really made an #introduction post, so here is one.

I'm Cala, a bi nonbinary trans fem lesbian game designer.

I #graduated earlier this year with a B.S. degree in #GameDesign, I have an A.S. degree in Computer Programming, and I'm trying to find a job in the #gamedev industry.

I often make things in Unreal Engine 4 ( #UE4 ) and can be found playing #FFXIV in my free time.

When not playing games, I like to read web novels, and I #amwriting a #fantasy #book.
