Gradia Screenshot Tool Just Keeps Getting Better - OMG! Ubuntu - #Gradia was already a solid app with a focused feature set and a UI that, dare I say it, is delightful to use, making it easy to add text to #screenshots in #Ubuntu along with arrows (great for bug reports). But it can open and work with any image file, not just screenshots.

I really like how rapidly #Gradia is evolving. In less than a month so many useful improvements have been added.
Including changing size for lines, radius for Number and much more for the annotation tools.
It is already very useful.
Can be quickly installed from Flathub.

AlexanderVanhee/Gradia: Make your screenshots ready for all - On social media, it's often hard to control how your images appear to others. Transparent or oddly sized images—like #screenshots—often don't display well. Fixing these issues can feel like more trouble than it's worth.

Quick test of #Gradia
I really like that each annotation can be moved individually, however not yet resized or changed.
I can select color, both not thickness of lines, angles of arrows. Just the plain basics.
Can do Ctrl+v to paste screenshot into it ✅
Got good shortcut support in Gnome, with good integration with the build in Screenshot tool to automatically open as combo!
But since only 3w since 1st release: https://github.com/AlexanderVanhee/Gradia/releases - this is really promising to fill a big hole on #Linux.

Gradia is a Slick New Screenshot Annotation Tool for Linux
Taking screenshots on Linux is easy enough, but making them visually engaging? That requires more effort — not so with Gradia. Gradia is a new screenshot tool for Linux with a key difference: it’s focused less on taking screenshots and more on making screenshots look nicer for sharing on social media, app store listings, blog posts, etc., without the need to open full-blown image editing software. Or to say the same thing in fewer words: it lets you turn hum-drum screen captures into eye-catching graphics by placing them inset on a colourful background with annotation tools. A top-level overview of :sys_more_orange:
