I'm seeing a lot of comments on social media that articles and blog posts that people don't agree with are AI created writings and they won't look into the information presented in them.

Just because you don't agree with an article doesn't mean your opinion is more authoritative than the author of the original information.

I think we're going to find that AI generated information will give ignorant people an excuse to remain and spread that bullshit far and wide as "truth."

After trying #Bing Chat (the new search functionality) I'm kinda disappointed. I let it lookup how it cost to join my sport club and although it pointed to the correct page it not only incorrectly interupt the numbers, but also said numbers that were not on the site.

When I correct it the response was "no, you're stupid and I don't want to talk with you".

Mind you: I was the once the treasurer at the club.

So yeah... Not in the same ballpark as #GPTChat

I don’t think those are the choices at hand though. The #Search + #AI options aren’t BS under all circumstances. In short, the BS arises from flawed usage that tries to negate the GIGO reality of sofware programs 😀

Shortcuts, a #iOS and #macOS feature, is the key to making this kind of integration with a tool like CHAT-GPT possible. Fundamentally, nobody has to wait for #Apple for enhance #Siri 😀

I'm amazed by how good #GptChat is. I asked it to write essays about #gender from the perspectives of a #radfem, a #libfem, a #TERF and even a #TIRF (Trans Inclusive Radical Feminist) and it fucking delivered it!
