In signing the bill requiring 10 Commandments be displayed in Louisiana classrooms, Landry not only shows his arrogance but his ignorance as well. He claims that Moses was the original law giver. Ummm…no. Supposedly Egyptian law goes back to 3000 BC, but the oldest extant law was written by Ur-Nammu, Sumerian King circa 2000 BC. 1760 BC brings us to the Code of Hammurabi.
