The worst thing about living in #Texas is not our #Republican #State #governement - it's those moderate-to-left folks in other parts of the #US who will #donate to fund #Senate #Races in other states while writing Texas off as irredeemable.
This isn't unique to Texas and we even have some of that within our borders (writing off #rural areas, for example). I think this is a common feeling among folks living in other #RedStates, too.
Even worse, while writing us off, they have the cheek to ask us to #support their struggles for #democracy, while not supporting ours.
This isn't about tit-for-tat retaliation, but if y'all aren't supporting Texans turning Texas #blue then, we Texans will have to do it ourselves and focus our support on our own before we can have the luxury to think about other races in other places.
