Today’s sketch. Trying out being super loose and painting broad colour shapes first and then refining with pencil. I am not yet sure if that’s my style, but it’s quick and I can see how this could work on location.

I wasn't satisfied so I tried, again. This time it's better shadows and a more defined boat. Also, I switched back to using a fountain pen for the outline. That worked better for me.
