And since I'm well aware everybody is busy right now playing #SteamNextFest demos, let me point out that the demo for this one is still up. You'll (quite literally!) only scratch the surface of what the game has to offer, but it was enough to get me hooked on what's quickly shaping up to become my #GOTY2023 now.
Oh, and it runs great on Linux, if that's a concern for anyone.

Hardspace ShipbreakerFantastic chunky 3D puzzler. Swinging around in 6DOF feels great with all the SteamDeck buttons. Playing it builds up an awesome feeling of technical mastery. Also some of the best game music of the year https://store.steampowered.com/app/1161580

My GOTYs #2: FTL
This year I finally beat FTL’s campaign on easiest mode. This game is brutal, especially the final boss. This was also the year I discovered that the devs don’t care about story, which was WILD to me, given the strength of the game narative.
