This was some damn good science fiction and probably the best Marvel film since Endgame.
Amazing comeback for #jamesGunn and the team after #GotG 2.
Showcases all its characters beautifully. Felt like watching an #Avengers movie.
It was FUN, like 2008 or 2012 #Marvel fun.

@hermann4000 Ja, #GotG3 war mutlose Stangenware mit einem niedlichen Eichhörnchen (oder so). Solche Filme gehen eben kein Risiko ein, weil es um viel Geld geht. Die MCU-Sachen sind alle US-Norm, also Kriegsfilme oder Buddyfilme und in ihrer Einförmigkeit und Einfältigkeit Körperverletzung. Und mit dem ganzen #Multiverse-Quatsch, oder eben so albernen Figuren wie im Guardian-Franchise irgendwo im Weltall, zunehmend auch nichtmal mehr unterhaltsamer Sondermüll. Also nix für uns mehr.

I'm done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I followed it loyally since the first Iron Man, but Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was the last hurrah for me. I loved it and I want to leave the MCU with a good taste in my mouth.
You see, following the continuity any further will force me to watch Quantumania, and I'm just not going to do it. The Eternals was bad enough. Those wankers are never getting to abuse my eyeballs or intelligence again.

So who did #JamesGunn blow to get an actual CGI budget on #GotG3? Wild. I felt like I was watching pre-Endgame #MCU. Though it definitely should have been 45 minutes shorter.

Just watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3. I thoroughly enjoyed that. The balance between comedy and seriousness was done very well and tugs on the emotions. #marvel #gotg3 #gotgv3 #movie #movienight

Some folks have bandied about the notion that the #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy trilogy is the best one in comic book cinema…certainly the best within the #MCU. I think they may be onto something.
I just saw #GotG3 and it's spectacular. Easily as good as the first one and better than the second one (IMHO).
Who knew I could get so choked up about a damn space raccoon? 😅
(Also definitely worth seeing in theaters. The VFX is awesome.)

That said, my one complaint, and it’s a big one: you tease Adam Warlock for the better part of a decade, and THAT is what you do with him? Otherwise very good move but OMG, if you need a character who is “Superman but an evil, inept moron”, fine, write that character, but don’t call him Adam Warlock.
