I always like a nice tango and the Gotan Project have an entire album with tango tunes. This one really appeals - even if I can't understand a word - other than the title translates to 'danger'. Sounds like the perfect topic for a tango!

El Capitalismo Foráneo
Crecí en una familia profunda y manifiestamente antiperonista, por muchas razones, sobre todo ideológicas.
Así como Gatíca que (aparentemente) dijo alguna vez "yo no sé nada de política, siempre fui peronista" (toda una metáfora), una línea de mi familia siempre fue comunista.
Mi padre tuvo un cambio de actitud a finales de los 90, cuando entendió que, le gustara o no, no había posibilidad de construcción política sin el peronismo, que ha sido indudablemente el motor político (para bien y para mal) de nuestro país (Argentina) en los últimos 70 años.
Enfrascado en mis propias investigaciones, pasé semanas enteras en la Biblioteca del Congreso leyendo y comparando textos, allá por 1993, para intentar comprender y tener una aproximación personal sobre este movimiento político. Mi abuelo paterno (uno de los organizadores de la huelga ferroviaria de 1951) me había sugerido que lo hiciera porque la opinión familiar estaba (según sus palabras) muy inclinada negativamente. "Si querés sacar tus propias conclusiones, andá a la biblioteca y estudiá. Lo que yo te pueda decir, tiene que ver con lo que nosotros vivimos. Ahora es otro momento. Y vos sos vos, no tu papá ni yo. Tenés que formarte tus propias ideas".
Desconocer los cambios profundos (culturales, sociales y políticos) que generó el "primer" peronismo sería una burrada. Pero Perón sigue siendo una figura (desde mi perspectiva) bastante "opáca". Respeto enormemente a una parte de la militancia peronista (con la que yo mismo he militado, trabajado y salido a la calle muchas veces), pero Perón... prefiero pensarlo muchas veces como una "idea".
No me pasa lo mismo con Eva Duarte. Mi "afinidad" política con ella es diametralmente diferente porque tengo una percepción muy distinta de su persona política. Ella se me hace gigantesca, en sentido positivo. Como Cristina Fernández.
Todo este divague viene a cuento porque, por alguna razón, pensé en ella, en Eva, esta mañana y quise recordarla con música...
