Overview Within the southeastern portion of the State of Wyoming, and in particular Platte and Goshen Counties, the notable communities of the region include the Cities of Wheatland, Lingle, and Torrington. The last of these cities—Torrington—is home to the Homesteaders Museum and is associated with the eastern edge of the State of Wyoming, thus representing the Great Plains by way of the High Plains. -
