One thing that makes me very happy about the Gorton & Denton by-election result is it shows that claiming you have to vote tactically for Labour if you want to keep Reform out is bollocks. This was one of the safest Labour seats in the country, and the Greens still won it.
If you want to keep Reform out, then the message is clear: vote Green. That way you even get a party with policies that are different from Reform.

Another day, another canvasser. I told them the same thing - I'm hoping for some decent constituency level polling that indicates who is best placed to defeat Reform.
The fact that I haven't seen any makes me suspect that Reform are so clearly ahead that it doesn't matter which of Labour or Green I vote for.
At least this Labour canvasser didn't try to excuse Labour's attacks on trans rights and civil liberties.
