Because of cuts to the National Weather Service, western #Alaska was devastated by #Typhoon #Halong. More than 49 towns have been evacuated, a difficult thing in that region. When reaching out to friends in Alaska on how I could best help from thousands of miles away, they suggested this link. If you’ve got some spare change in the couch, these are vetted organizations to help people and animals.
