Do tej pory korzystanie z Gemini jako nakładki na system przypominało stąpanie po cienkim lodzie. Wystarczył jeden fałszywy ruch – dotknięcie ekranu poza oknem asystenta – by Gemini się zamykało, zabierając ze sobą całą konwersację. Pływający przycisk ratuje sytuację

Jak donosi Android Authority (powołując się na analizę kodu beta wersji aplikacji Google), nadchodzi rozwiązanie. Zamiast znikać bez śladu, zminimalizowane okno Gemini zamieni się w mały, pływający przycisk (FAB; floating action button) przy krawędzi ekranu.
