These types of posts are meant innocently to bootstrap ones network of connections, but it's really tantamount to just noise with thousands of similar posts polluting the feeds on every kind of #Fediverse server platform.
It got so bad that Google had to start suspending accounts that did this back in the days of #Google_Plus (gplus), deeming it #spam
Please...
* Do use meaningful #hashtags when posting
* Don't weaponize it by trying to gamify the collection of followers⛵
