Internal government documents, unearthed through Freedom of Information requests, reveal the shocking truth: Whitehall has the audacity to privately concede that Ed Miliband’s beloved wind turbines and solar farms are not the green saviors they claim to be, but rather destructive forces wreaking havoc on our environment.
In their own words: these plans threaten to annihilate “nationally recognized landscapes and historic environments,” wreak havoc on biodiversity, devastate water resources, and trigger a shocking surge in greenhouse gas emissions.
