A lovely complaints person called & actually explained, as opposed to politely telling me I was wrong...
22% off the official reference price = 21% of their actual price, so both figures are correct. They are obliged to use both. Reference prices apply across all providers, to help consumers compare prices (& get confused).
She then embarrassed me by giving me an account credit, more than covering 1% of my annual bill. I still accepted. 🙄
