Mostly bored to death trying to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time, but the shot of that guy jogging in a circle when the camera films right up his grundle the whole time rehydrated me like one of those sponge pills you put in water so it becomes an animal

Been having something of a Spike Lee film festival this past week. Catching up on some of his older catalog (Malcolm X, School Daze) and also watched BlacKkKlansman. All really good stuff.

I don't want to give too much of the story away but if you've never seen "Moon" starring Sam Rockwell, you're missing a seriously well-written and well-acted science fiction drama.

I think you (like me) will be startled to see how close to possible the premise of story is given the direction society is taking and the emergence of LLMs. Chilling.
