Something good DID happen today.

My wife (who is recovering from total knee replacement surgery) received a gorgeous Spoonful of Comfort "Get Well" gift box from a BFF she has known since grade school back in New York. It contained two large packages of Chicken Rice Soup, six dinner rolls, six Chocolate Chip cookies, and a very nice silver(ish) soup ladle.

We had the soup tonight, and it was delicious (even with 3 zillion grams of sodium).

Any #speciality #coffee lovers tooting here? Just brewed a nice super clean washed Gesha, great aromas of citrus oil, jasmine-blossom and mild honeys …. Not too fruity and acidic (as expected), but still complex enough to be truly interesting.

Recipe: 22g/300ml, 88°C, 2:45m, single pour, mostly center pour.
