I just saw #goodfortunethemovie and I rly enjoyed it.
The message resonated with me:
It didn't patronize the audience or young adults with the pull yourself from your bootstrap bs and that anyone can make it if they arent lazy.
Instead it says: things aren't easy but you can't give up, if you persevere you can make it a better place for you and the ones that follow, so don't. Your loved ones deserve that.

As much as I like Keanu Reeves as an action hero (#Matrix & #JohnWick), I've never liked him in lighter fair.
He stars in #GoodFortune, which was a movie that I was definitely NOT interested in seeing at the theater but I took a look at it on an #AltStreaming channel & my decision to skip it at the theater was confirmed.
I could only watch 20 mins of it before reading the entire plot on #Wiki & skipping ahead to see how it ended.
I viewed it as a lesser grade version of #HeavenCanWait (1943 &/or 1978) & #ItsAWonderfulLife (1946).
I suggest you watch one of those instead, if you want to see movie about an angel saving souls which is what Good Fortune is supposedly about.

Good Fortune is a fun movie that I encourage you to enjoy. It takes aim at the gig economy work experience, competing with robots, out-of-touch wealthy who literally look down on regular people, highlights unionization struggles and so much more that anyone who's held a real job can relate to. And the angel Gabriel (Keanu) clothing choice seems to be a nod to Columbo. Bonus!
