It’s insane that the head of the second largest party in the country announced his immediate resignation, on a weekend, no less.
There have been internal efforts to unseat him following his failure to run for president but after the party gained 20% of the seats in the legislative election and played a significant part in helping Prabowo win I thought that’d be a sign of success. Maybe that gives him the reason, to resign on a high.

The independent Governor of West Java , Ridwan Kamil, has officially joined the Golkar Party, donning the party’s yellow jacket, presumably one step closer to becoming Presidential or VP candidate for 2024.
By the way, has anyone else noticed that Ant Man is red and Yellowjacket was his enemy? 🔴🟡
