The quieter, less busy area of #GoldstreamPark. It's great to hike there in late Fall & Winter, when the campground is gated off. You see almost no one else on the trails in off season.

These huge #cedar #trees are second growth. Old growth cedars are even larger. These two photos show how small we are, in comparison to the trees. While this park has some old growth to see - most of it is actually filled with 2nd & 3rd growth trees.

We ended up #hiking the Upper Falls trails at #GoldstreamPark instead. It's accessed via the campground area & the trails there aren't as busy as the main hiking trails accessed through their main parking lot. My friend had never seen the Upper Falls before so I wanted to show her.
