  4. So, I made a ring, first time working with sterling silver.

    I failed to make this ring design before (then working with brass) and apparently that made a friend think I'd be the right person to ask to make them an engagement ring.

  6. Taking a break to watch The Rings of Power. Watching mithril get melted down in a crucible and am surprised it takes such a low heat to do so. Those are yellow flames, and not all that hot. A propane torch is hotter than that. Must be magic fire.

    (I used to study goldsmithing and silversmithing a couple decades ago.)
