So today i watched Goldfinger and it was definitely better then From Russia with Love. It also stars the legendary Aston Martin and we actually get to see Q branch. The film features allot of different cars including a cabrio version of the Thunderbird "64. Theres also goofy stuff in the movie like the nuke timer stopping at 007. Theres also the scene where Goldfinger wants to cut James Bond in half with a lazer which later had a simpson reference. The movie is really a product of its time since it features more sexism then the previous movies. Also for some stupid reason they named one of the carecters Pussy Galore. Also i have no clue what the beginning of the movie has to do with anything.

I recommend watching any James Bond film while high. I just finished watching Goldfinger, and I was laughing hysterically during the scene where they storm and take over Fort Knox. That was the funniest shit I've seen.

Album Review: Goldfinger - Nine Lives
In high school, Goldfinger was one of my favorite bands. I heard a few songs off their new(ish) album Nine Lives and really liked them. So, I decided to pick it up digitally.
Overall, I liked the album. It felt more like formulaic pop punk with ska elements interspersed than I was expecting. Also of note: Most of the tracks are short. Like ~2 minutes long. Which is a shame.
Stand out tracks for me are Freaking Out a Bit which I already loved and features Mark Hoppus of blink-182. Also, Derelict featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills which is high energy punk.
Also, the song College about your kid going off to college...actually hits.

Idea for a James Bond movie where she returns on a crusade of vengeance.
Finding actors who resemble Connery and Blackman to do this would be cool. -
