I'd be interested to know what everyone thinks of this 'type/style' of wildlife photo.
By all means, it's not your traditional photo but I quite like the mysteriousness of it with the goldfinch hiding amongst the light and the out of focus branches in the foreground. My only wish is that its face and eyes were more clear.

I was cutting some rosemary for dinner (being careful to avoid spooking the honey bees), heard a rustling, and spied a lesser goldfinch trying to hide under the sourgrass and leaf litter.

Und bieten jetzt unseren Stieglitzen Nahrung; an der Futtersäule können die sich nicht gegen Sperlinge und Grünfinken durchsetzen. Meisen suchen die Samenstände auch oft nach Spinnen und anderen Arthropoden ab.
