#Zwift buys #Rouvy. Well, that’s it then, welcome to kindergarten and enshittification. What a shame. The "free Arabs" #mywhoosh don’t really appeal to me either. Guess it’s time to go back to the roots of #indoorcycling

Hi @s1m0n4

to record activities, on android :android: both

• #fitotrack https://codeberg.org/jannis/FitoTrack and
• #opentracks https://opentracksapp.com/

are great (I'd suggest fitotrack because of it has a more complete/visual statistics screen of your run/activity)

with both you can keep record and backup your activities; import them to other devices or services; have nice statistics; or sync using (i.e.) syncthing

if you then visualize or analyze in your computer, there are alternatives like #goldencheetah which have too many options but can keep it simple if you liked https://www.goldencheetah.org/#section-download

edit:

to add that IIRC @escuco has an #fittrackee instance at https://fittrackee.de open to registration (if you want to test @FitTrackee ). You can also #selfhost :hushsloth: , of course

edit 2 :sorrisosloth: (I got excited :hushsloth: )

if you record your activities using a «watch» then you can import .gpx files in both :android: apps to keep a detailed log

What did you do with two weeks off?

How to analyze Out- and Back Test Runs for CdA and crr in the Chung Aerolab in Golden Cheetah.

Made a Youtube Version out of my Chung Virtual Elevation Reel from a few days ago. Of course, this is way more readable and you can see way better what's going on. Also you can pause the playback readily to read those explanations and following the content.

Nice. Got the new QT6 media video window working nice and smoothly in #GoldenCheetah 👌

Really must remember to add tags🤦‍♂️ i don't think they work if you edit and add to a post.
#GoldenCheetah #vo2max

Nice. Some more tinkering with the VO2Max Device (https://github.com/ihewitt/VO2max) with the CO2 sensor changes...
and we have streaming data to GoldenCheetah over Bluetooth. 👍

https://www.goldencheetah.org/

GoldenCheetah v3.6 is released, it's available for download here: http://www.goldencheetah.org/#section-features

:awesome:

Wollte nur mal kurz installieren und draufschauen. Zack raucht der Kopf anstatt der Beine 😀

http://www.goldencheetah.org/ sometimes feels a bit too complex and bloated, but it's open source, and you can easily write your own scripts to plot and analyze your training data.

i'm baffled.. i tried to get #goldencheetah working on my system and i couldn't get my devices to show up nor was i able to setup the strava connection.

then i discovered #flux, an open source, browser-based cycling app, which instantly connected to my power meter, cadence sensor and heart rate monitor. that this works in a browser is truely amazing, especially as there are not many alternatives on linux.

i didn't complete a workout yet, but according to the github page it records workouts as a .fit file, which can then easily be uploaded to any platform.

@kr1s000 I am sure. In my opinion shoes are over hyped anyways.

Have you explored any open source related running applications? I tried out #GoldenCheetah today, extremely powerfull, but very bad UI.
