By the way, for those who don't know, the bridge is named for the Golden Gate Strait, the water between the Marin headlands and the San Francisco peninsula, basically the mouth of the San Francisco Bay and the water that runs under the bridge. My son and I were in the Bay Area for the Miata Reunion at Sonoma Raceway and took a side trip to the Presidio. I shot the usual Golden Gate frames first, then this one, where the trees are the subject and the bridge just gets a supporting role.
