So, hey, Fedibuddies. The Owlbear has a question.

What other part of the #Fediverse is worth joining? I'm a #nerd, a #ttrpg fan, a #Golarian obsessive, a #movie fan, an #indiegame fan. I have other interests too, like #poetry #ScienceFiction and #SCP. I'm a long-time #Linux user with a #Gnome preference. I'm very, very #NoAI

Oh, and I swear. It's not a hobby or a lack of a filter, I'm just big on self expression and saying what you mean.

So all that in mind, are there any other corners of the Fediverse I should be poking around in? And if so, got an instance where I'd be welcome in mind?

Hello everyone. I'm The Owlbear. I've been here for like, a bit, and decided I finally needed to do a proper intro post.

I'm into many nerdy things, particularly TTRPGS, Video Games, and Science Fiction. A few of my favorite things:

* #Pathfinder2e and #Golarian in general.
* #Murderbot
* #Terraria (I suck at it tho)
* #Fallout but not 76 (or any other multiplayer only game for that matter)
* A very specific and short list of #Anime
* The two #Alien movies (Alien and its sequel, Aliens). I'm so glad they never made more.
* #TTRPGs that aren't D&D 5e (earlier editions are cool tho)
* #IndieGames
* #GameDesign
* #Linux and #Gnome, particularly #Arch #VoidLinux #AlpineLinux and #Fedora
* #LGBTQIA2S
* #Owls
* #Bears
* #Owlbears
* The #DCEU - now that James Gunn is in charge

I like other stuff too.

I don't like hate, that crap they call AI these days, trolls, and being shitty just to be shitty.

I believe in love, compassion, empathy, and generally not being a shit person.

I have to say, #Golarian is a pretty damn fun fantasy setting
