If anyone hasn't figured this out by now, I love being single. It appears that a number of studies have explained why. Here's a study mentioned in a paywalled Wapo article: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/01461672261462978
They're saying that when you are single you are open to a lot more opportunities for expanding your personal horizons. This is absolutely true in my case. I cannot begin to count the number of things I've learned and done since the overdue termination of my marriage in 2012. #GoingSolo #LiveLife
