Good Morning #Canada
Forget the Easter Egg Hunt. The real excitement is that it's Go Fly a Kite Day. I don't think enough Canadians have experienced the joy of watching their Kite soar hundreds of feet in the air, wave dramatically in the wind, and then plunge into the highest branches of a nearby tree. The largest kite flying celebration in Canada is likely the Windscape Kite Festival in Swift Current, but many provinces have local events.#CanadaIsAwesome #GoFlyAKite

CW: Venting: people complaining about my priorities
Anyone who tells me that "(Insert thing significant only to that person) is more important than feeding your son, but ok" can kindly go fly a kite. 🤬 Yes, I recognize he's a teenager and could make some food for himself, but I only get custody of him half a month so I'm trying to be more present with the time I have with him until he moves on in life. #JointCustody #SingleParenthood #GoFlyAKite

Good Morning Canada!
Apparently it's the 3rd Sunday in April which means it is GO Fly a Kite Day. No... I don't want you to get lost... I'm talking about actually tying a long string to a colourful triangle of plastic and trying to fly it up in the clouds. Or tangle it in your neighbours tree. My daughters and I regularly flew kites when they were younger and maybe it's time I introduced it to my granddaughter.#Canada #CanadaIsAwesome #goflyakite
