Found it poignant and funny that #Vajpayee was raised in pre independence #Gwalior as a subject of the #Scindia kings. But today Vajpayee is the biggest icon of the #BJP, a party in which the descendants of the Scindia kings are mere mid level functionaries. Scindia Royals had a big role to play in the rise of the #Hindu #right, as funders and activists. They might have supplied the pistol and bullets that #Godse used to kill #Gandhi.
