RP6 6rIt is not poverty that we flee. Happiness does not consist in having wealth, but in humbly submitting your will to that of God, who gives each person what He knows to be necessary for the salvation of his soul.
NOVENA PRAYER
Remember, O most pure spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
my great protector, Saint Joseph,
that no one ever had recourse to your protection,
or implored your aid without obtaining relief.
Confiding therefore in your goodness, I come before you.
Do not turn down my petitions, foster father of the Redeemer,

I always refer back to 'AntiIntellectualism in American Life' by R. Hofstadter 1966

People who claim that #Brexit is #GodsWill and so we should support it seem to miss something important.
That sometimes, in the Biblical texts, it is clear that "God's will" is sometimes actually God's judgement on the nation, and on the people. It may well be God's will and still a bad thing for us.
Brexit seems like this.
