William Henry Bennet, English Congregationalist minister, reflects on temples of the Lord. If we are wealthy enough to live in cedar houses, then our church shouldn’t be a mud hut (1 Chr 17:1). But we have “disloyalty to Christ” if we’re content that temples of the Holy Spirit are living in squalor.
Do we view other Christians from or in squalor as *temples*, or evidence of their apostasy and danger?
